TLD-1433
TLD-1433 is a ruthenium (II)-based water-soluble photodynamic compound. TLD-1433 inactivates enveloped viruses by inducing lipid peroxidation. TLD-1433 inactivates a variety of human pathogenic enveloped and non-enveloped viruses. TLD-1433 can be used in the research of viral infections and BCG-unresponsive non-muscle invasive bladder cancer.

Description
In Vitro
TLD-1433 inactivates Influenza A virus H1N1, human coronavirus OC-43, and Zika virus in a concentration-dependent manner, with photo-activation drastically reducing effective doses (ED50 values of 9.2 nM, 3.3 nM, and 12.0 nM respectively) compared to dark treatment[1].
TLD-1433 inactivates herpes simplex virus type 1 and Vaccinia virus in a concentration-dependent manner, with photo-activation reducing effective doses (ED50 values of 2.4 nM and 92.3 nM respectively) compared to dark treatment[1].
TLD-1433 inactivates adenovirus type 5 and mammalian orthoreovirus type 1 Lang in a concentration-dependent manner, with photo-activation reducing effective doses (ED50 values of 1.8 μM and 5.4 μM respectively) compared to dark treatment[1].
