Biological Activity: Ipolamiide is an antiosteoporotic agent that can be isolated from Barleria lupulina. Ipolamiide exhibits a potent antiosteoporotic effect. Ipolamiide dose-dependently enhances alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity in MC3T3-E1 cells. Ipolamiide can be used for osteoporosis research[1].
