Biological Activity: γ-Carotene is a carotenoid found in Hippophae rhamnoides L. and peach palm fruits. γ-Carotene exhibits no significant inhibitory activity against self-activated hepatic stellate cells in vitro. γ-Carotene can be converted into retinol (Vitamin A) (HY-B1342) and can be used for the research of vitamin A deficiency[1][2].
