Biological Activity: Thio-acridone (SACD) is a photosensitizer (HAF-PSs). Thio-acridone forms a long-lived triplet state upon excitation by 470 nm visible light,, ultimately generating singlet oxygen to damage the structures and functions of target cells such as cancer cells.
