Biological Activity: 3-Carboxy-7-Hydroxycoumarin is a 7-hydroxycoumarin (umbelliferone) fluorescent dye and antibody-conjugated labeling agent with UV excitation properties. 3-Carboxy-7-Hydroxycoumarin undergoes deprotonation in neutral-to-alkaline environments, producing strong blue fluorescence.
