Biological Activity: Chymostatin is a SARS-CoV-2 Mpro inhibitor. Chymostatin up-regulates endocan and inhibits NF-κBp65 activity. Chymostatin reduces proinflammatory cytokines (IL-1β and IL-6) and HMGB1. Chymostatin shows protective effects against Paraquat-induced acute lung injury.
