Kanokoside A (1-9 μg/mL) shows weak cytostatic/cytotoxic activity against HM02 stomach carcinoma, HepG2 liver carcinoma, and MCF7 mammary carcinoma cells, with a GI₅₀ of 1-9 μg/mL^[1].
Kanokoside A (5-25 μM; 24 h) is non-toxic to PC12 cells at concentrations up to 25 μM but does not exert a neuroprotective effect against Aβ_1-42-induced injury in PC12 cells^[2].
