Biological Activity
Colistin methanesulfonate is less bactericidal than colistin at the same multiples of the MIC. Colistin and colistin methanesulfonate are both unequal mixtures of the salts of two components, colistins A and B (1), which may well have different in vitro activities[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
