DSPE-PEG3400-COOH
DSPE-PEG3400-COOH is a conjugate composed of DSPE, a PEG chain, and a terminal carboxyl group (-COOH). The carboxyl group in DSPE-PEG3400-COOH can form an amide bond with a primary amine via EDC/NHS activation, for targeted modification of liposomes/nanoparticles.

Biological Activity
The structure of DSPE-PEG-COOH comprises three key parts, each working synergistically:
DSPE: Acts as a hydrophobic anchor, responsible for securely embedding the entire molecule into the membrane structure of the lipid nanoparticles.
PEG chain: Acts as a hydrophilic spacer arm, forming a hydration layer on the particle surface, reducing non-specific adsorption and immune system recognition and clearance, thus prolonging the carrier's circulation time in vivo.
COOH (carboxyl group): Located at the end of the PEG chain, it serves as a reaction interface, enabling covalent bonding with molecules containing amino or hydroxyl groups (such as antibodies, peptides, and fluorescent dyes) through efficient chemical reactions such as amidation and esterification, achieving targeting or tracking functions.
