Description

Epinodosinol is a diterpenoid derived from plant Rabdosia angustifolia. Epinodosinol has inhibitory activity against certain cancer cells[1].

In Vitro

Epinodosinol (0-100 μM; 48 h) exhibits inhibitory activities against HepG2, GLC-82 and HL-60 cells[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Cell Cytotoxicity Assay[1]

Cell Line: HepG2, GLC-82 and HL-60 cells
Concentration: 0-100 μM
Incubation Time: 48 h
Result: Exhibited inhibitory activities against HepG2, GLC-82 and HL-60 cells with IC50s of 77.19 ± 0.33 μM, 59.44 ± 6.67 μM and 38.61 ± 2.77 μM, respectively.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
