Biological Activity
Ethyl rutinoside (30% (v/v) ethanol; 20 hours) is synthesized efficiently (yield = 23.0 g from 50 g rutin)[1].
Ethyl rutinoside (15% (v/v) ethanol; 2 hours) yields crystalline standard (yield = 133 mg from 20 g flour and 10 ml ethanol solution)[1].
Ethyl rutinoside (0–60% (v/v) ethanol) supports maximum rutin-degrading enzyme activity at 15% ethanol and 50°C[1].
Ethyl rutinoside (10% (v/v) ethanol) is identified as the unknown reaction product via 13CNMR[1].
