FBPase-1 inhibitor-1 (Compound 1) is an allosteric FBPase-1 inhibitor with an IC50 of 3.3 μM or 3.9 μM. FBPase-1 inhibitor-1 blocks gluconeogenesis by inhibiting FBPase-1. FBPase-1 inhibitor-1 can be used for the research of type 2 diabetes (t2dm).

FBPase-1 inhibitor-1 (10−8 to 10−3 M; duration of the enzymatic reaction) potently inhibits human FBPase-1 activity in the malachite green assay with an IC50 of 3.3 ± 0.6 μM[1].
FBPase-1 inhibitor-1 (10−8 to 10−3 M; duration of the enzymatic reaction) inhibits human FBPase-1 activity in the coupled enzyme assay with an IC50 of 3.9 ± 0.6 μM and a Ki of 1.1 ± 0.1 μM[1].
FBPase-1 inhibitor-1 (0.01-100 μM; 3 hours) blocks gluconeogenesis in H4IIE rat hepatoma cells by inhibiting FBPase-1, reducing glucose output with an IC50 of 6.6 ± 1.6 μM[1].
