Sulfonylurea Receptor HRP-Streptavidin is a biotin-binding signal amplifier designed to bind tightly with biotinylated anti-TSH monoclonal antibodies, thereby constituting a key component of the signal amplification system in immunoassays. HRP-Streptavidin is formed by the covalent coupling of Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) with Streptavidin; it combines the highly efficient catalytic activity of the enzyme with the high affinity of Streptavidin for biotin, making it a potent and sensitive tool for signal amplification. HRP-Streptavidin is suitable for use in Western Blotting, ELISA, and other detection techniques.

Description

Sulfonylurea Receptor HRP-Streptavidin is a biotin-binding signal amplifier designed to bind tightly with biotinylated anti-TSH monoclonal antibodies, thereby constituting a key component of the signal amplification system in immunoassays. HRP-Streptavidin is formed by the covalent coupling of Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) with Streptavidin; it combines the highly efficient catalytic activity of the enzyme with the high affinity of Streptavidin for biotin, making it a potent and sensitive tool for signal amplification. HRP-Streptavidin is suitable for use in Western Blotting, ELISA, and other detection techniques[1][2].

In Vitro

HRP-Streptavidin conjugate is successfully synthesized via periodate oxidation of HRP and coupling to streptavidin, forming a stable conjugate capable of signal amplification through biotin-streptavidin binding[1].
HRP-Streptavidin (1:500 dilution; 1 h) enables sensitive and precise detection of the 35-mer HBV DNA fragment, with a limit of detection of 3 pM, a working range of 6-100 pM, a sensitivity of 1.6 × 105 RLU/pM, and CV values below 6%[2].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
