INK4C-IN-3 is a synthetic coumarin amide compound and a small-molecule inhibitor of INK4C (p18INK4C). INK4C-IN-3 promotes the ex vivo expansion of human and mouse hematopoietic stem cells. INK4C-IN-3 can be used in research related to hematopoietic stem cell expansion.

INK4C-IN-3 (compound 41) (administered continuously for 14 days) potently promotes the expansion of murine C57BL/6 CD34−LKS hematopoietic stem cells in vitro, with an ED50 of 9.92 nM[2].
INK4C-IN-3 (0.01-1 μM; 7 days) promotes the ex vivo expansion of human umbilical cord blood CD34+ hematopoietic stem cells[2].
