Insecticidal agent 46 is a voltage-gated sodium channel (VGSC) modulator. Insecticidal agent 46 shifts fast inactivation gating toward hyperpolarization and impairs the fast inactivation gate. Insecticidal agent 46 can be used as an insecticide.

Insecticidal agent 46 (3 μM) shifts the fast inactivation V1/2 of DmNa22 expressed in Xenopus laevis oocytes by 13.23 mV in the hyperpolarizing direction without affecting activation gating[1].

The IC50 values of LC-2 against both mammalian cell types exceeded 200 μM.
In Vivo
Insecticidal agent 46 (feeding) exhibits insecticidal activity against second-instar larvae of Drosophila melanogaster w1118, with an LC50 of 1.82 μg/mL[1].
