Illudalic acid
Illudalic acid is a sesquiterpenoid natural product discovered in Omphalotus illudens. Illudalic acid inhibits LAR with an IC50 of 2.1 µM, and also inhibits CD45, PTPμ, and SHP2. Illudalic acid derivatives inhibit PTPRD and reduce drug-induced reward behavior in animal models. Illudalic acid can be used in research on LAR-related diseases.

Biological Activity
Description
IC50 & Target
IC50: 1.30 µM (LAR phosphatase)[1]
In Vitro
Illudalic acid (IA-30) inhibits LAR with an IC50 of 2.1 µM, and also inhibits CD45 (10 µM), PTPμ (16 µM), and SHP2 (29 µM), whereas its IC50 values against TCPTP, HePTP, PTPε, VHR, and LMWPTP are all >100 µM[3].
Illudalic acid is a pseudo-irreversible LAR inhibitor, KI = 130 µM, kinact = 1.3 min-1[3].
Illudalic acid (20 μM; 10 min) irreversibly inhibits recombinant LAR[4].
