Antifibrotic agent 3
Antifibrotic agent 3 is an orally active antifibrotic agent. Antifibrotic agent 3 reduces hepatic stellate cell activation by downregulating the expression of Collagen I and α-SMA. Antifibrotic agent 3 inhibits liver fibrosis in bile duct ligation and carbon tetrachloride-induced liver fibrosis models. Antifibrotic agent 3 can be used for the research of liver fibrosis.

Biological Activity
|
Collagen I |
Antifibrotic agent 3 (10 mg/kg; p.o.; once daily; for 14 consecutive days) reduces CCl4-induced liver injury, collagen deposition, and expression of hepatic fibrosis markers in mice[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
