APX002 binds to human IL-1β with high affinity (K_d=0.199 nM), cross-reacts with monkey IL-1β, and does not bind mouse IL-1β^[1].
APX002 (83-166 pM; 24 hours) potently inhibits Staphylococcus epidermidis-induced IL-6 production in human whole blood cells, with 42% average inhibition at 83 pM and 58% average inhibition at 166 pM after 24 hours^[1].
