Malabaric acid (10.3-164.8 µM; 21 min) inhibits lipid peroxidation in a liposome-based LPO assay, with an IC₅₀ of 100.3 µM^[1].
Malabaric acid (41.2-329.6 µM; 24 h) exhibits moderate MTT-reducing antioxidant activity in a cell-free MTT assay, with an IC₅₀ of 192 µM^[1].
