Tylogenin
Tylogenin is a Na+/K+ ATPase inhibitor with an IC50 of 93.3 μM against rabbit-derived targets. Tylogenin inhibits antigen-induced mediator release from rabbit basophils and IgE-dependent histamine release from human leukocytes. Tylogenin exhibits antiallergic activity. Tylogenin can be used in research related to allergic diseases.

Biological Activity
Tylogenin (1-300 μM; 15-120 min) exhibits time-dependent inhibition of antigen-induced serotonin release from sensitized rabbit basophils in the BDSR assay, with an IC50 of 38.90 μM after 120 min of incubation, and the inhibition rate reaches 92% at a concentration of 300 μM following 120 min of incubation[1].
Tylogenin (1-300 μM; 4 h) inhibits antigen-induced Histamine (HY-B1204) release from leukocytes of atopic individuals in the LDHR assay, with an IC50 of 48.98 μM[1].
Tylogenin (5-2000 μM; 1 h) inhibits Na+/K+ ATPase activity in rabbit renal cortical basolateral membrane vesicles, with an IC50 of 93.3 μM[1].
