In Vitro
Legumain-IN-2 (Compound 7u) potently inhibits recombinant human Legumain with an IC50 of 0.9 nM[1].
Legumain-IN-2 (30 μM) is highly selective for Legumain, showing minimal to moderate inhibition of other tested cysteine proteases[1].
Legumain-IN-2 (30 μM; 120 h) reduces cell count by >70% in MCF7 and T47D breast cancer cells, but has no effect on MCF10a and HME-1 normal breast cell viability under the same conditions[1].
