Methyl all-cis-7,10,13,16,19-docosapentaenoate can be used to synthesize cis-Docosa-7,10,13,16,19-pentaenoic acid (2-hydroxy-ethyl)-amid, which targets Nur77 and inhibits NF-κB to exert anti-inflammatory activity[1].
