Serpin A3N
Serpin A3N is a mouse serpin encoded within the expanded Serpina3 gene cluster on mouse chromosome 12, the counterpart of the human SERPINA1/SERPINA3 locus on chromosome 14. Like its cluster relatives, it is a secreted glycoprotein with the canonical serpin fold, and its expression in lung, liver, and myeloid cells is strongly induced by lipopolysaccharide, allergen challenge, and tissue injury, pointing to a protective role in limiting extracellular proteolysis during inflammation. The cluster paralogs are so similar that gene-specific recombinant Serpin A3N is needed to resolve individual contributions in knockout, antibody, and biomarker studies of mouse inflammatory disease models.

The EpCAM/TROP1 protein serves as an important homogeneous interacting molecule that promotes direct contact between intestinal epithelial cells (IEC) and intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL) in the mucosal epithelium. This feature helps establish an immune barrier against mucosal infections. EpCAM/TROP1 Protein, Human (His-SUMO) is the recombinant human-derived EpCAM/TROP1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His, N-SUMO labeled tag.
