F12

DMEM/F-12 (Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium/Nutrient Mixture F-12) is a widely used basal medium for supporting the growth of many different mammalian cells. Cell successfully cultured in DMEM/F-12 include MDCK, glial cells, fibroblasts, human endothelial cells, etc. The 500 mL is defined as the base specification. All larger sizes correspond to incremental volumes of this base.

MCE N-2 Serum-free Supplement (100×) can be used in conjunction with growth factors such as bFGF and EGF in serum-free neuronal cell culture mediums, DMEM and the DMEM/F12. This product is formulated with basal culture medium. The 5 mL is defined as the base specification. All larger sizes correspond to incremental volumes of this base.

MCE Advanced DMEM/F-12 is an optimized mammalian cell culture medium designed to reduce the requirement for fetal bovine serum (FBS). Compared with classical DMEM/F-12 medium, it can reduce serum usage by 50–90% while maintaining comparable cell growth rates and cellular morphology, thereby effectively lowering serum consumption and reducing overall cell culture costs.

Ham’s F-12K Medium was originally designed for the culture of primary human hepatocytes and differentiated rat and chicken cells. It is particularly suitable for single-cell cloning of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells under serum-free conditions. When supplemented with serum, it can also be used for the culture of various other mammalian cell types, including chondrocytes and rat prostate epithelial cells.

MCE D-Glucose Solution (200 g/L) can be used as a serum-free supplement for cell culture media and is suitable for a variety of culture systems, including but not limited to DMEM, RPMI 1640, DMEM/F-12, IMDM, and MEM.
