YOYO-3 is a trimethine cyanine homodimer dye. YOYO-3 intercalates into AF488-tagged dsDNA molecules at the single-molecule level. YOYO-3 has a greater affinity for DNA than do EB and other Cyanine dyes[1].

In Vitro

YOYO-3 (0.10-0.80 μM; 10 min) binds to dsDNA as a single intercalator[1].
