β-catenin-IN-9 is a β-catenin inhibitor. β-catenin-IN-9 induces apoptosis, cell cycle arrest, and inhibits migration, invasion, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in colorectal cancer cells. β-catenin-IN-9 suppresses the transcription of β-catenin and vimentin, and significantly inhibits β-catenin at the protein level. β-catenin-IN-9 can be used for the research of colorectal cancer[1].

In Vitro

β-catenin-IN-9 (compound 10d) demonstrates potent cytotoxic activity against Colo-205 cells, with an IC50 value of 0.55 μM[1].
β-catenin-IN-9 (0.55 μM; 48 hours; Colo-205) demonstrates potent cytotoxic activity, induces apoptosis, and inhibits migration and invasion, induces cell cycle arrest in colorectal cancer cells, leading to increased total cell death and S-phase cell accumulation[1].
