1-Hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyxanthone (range of concentrations; 48 h) inhibits the growth of HeLa, MCF-7, A375-S2, HepG2, and SGC-7901 cells in vitro, with the strongest activity against SGC-7901 cells (IC₅₀ = 48.74±3.22 μg/mL) after 48 h incubation^[1].
1-Hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyxanthone (1.25-640 μg/mL; 24 h) inhibits the growth of Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC27853 and Escherichia coli ATCC25923 in vitro with an MIC of 640 μg/mL^[1].
