4-Nitrocatechol 4-monooxygenase

4-Nitrocatechol 4-monooxygenase (EC 1.14.13.166) is an oxidoreductase that can catalyze multiple reactions, including reaction 1: convert 4-nitrocatechol, NADPH and O2 into 2-hydroxy-1,4-benzoquinone, nitrite, NADP+ and H2O; reaction 2: convert 4-nitrocatechol, NADH and O2 into 2-hydroxy-1,4-benzoquinone, nitrite, NAD+ and H2O.
