Eupatorium chinense L.

(-)-Menthol is a key component of peppermint oil that binds and activates transient receptor potential melastatin 8 (TRPM8), a Ca²⁺-permeable nonselective cation channel, to increase [Ca²⁺]_i. Antitumor activity.

Linarin (Buddleoside) is an orally active and selective inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase (AChE). Linarin has many activities, such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, sleep aid and sedation, bone differentiation, anti-tumor, antibacterial and antiviral. Linarin can be used to study diseases such as the nervous system, osteoporosis and cancer.

Forchlorfenuron is plant growth regulator and cytokinin; can be used to increase fruit size of fruits, such as kiwi fruit and grapes.

Myrtenal ((±)-Myrtenal) is a monoterpene that acts as an antineoplastic agent. Myrtenal inhibits liver cancer by preventing DEN-PB-induced upregulation of TNF-α protein expression.

(-)-Myrtenal ((1R)-(-)-Myrtenal) is an orally active terpene with antitumour activity. (-)-Myrtenal ameliorates hyperglycemia by enhancing GLUT2 through Akt in the skeletal muscle and liver of diabetic rats.

Menthone, an orally active monoterpene that can be isolated from plants and Mentha oil with antibacterial, antitumor, antioxidation, and antivirus properties. Menthone is a main volatile component of the essential oil, and has anti-Inflammatory properties in Schistosoma mansoni infection and rheumatoid arthritis.

Linarin (Standard) is the analytical standard of Linarin. This product is intended for research and analytical applications. (+)-Menthol (D-Menthol) is one of the optical isomers of Menthol. (+)-Menthol can reduce the electrically evoked contractions of rat phrenic hemidiaphragm in vitro. Local anaesthetic activity. (+)-Menthol inhibits fungal growth and sporulation. (+)-Menthol can also inhibit the growth of Microcystis aeruginosa cells.

(-)-Menthol (Standard) is the analytical standard of (-)-Menthol. This product is intended for research and analytical applications. (-)-Menthol is a key component of peppermint oil that binds and activates transient receptor potential melastatin 8 (TRPM8), a Ca2+-permeable nonselective cation channel, to increase [Ca2+]i. Antitumor activity.

DL-Menthol (Racementhol) is an orally active, GABA_aR positive allosteric modulator and UDP-glucuronosyltransferase (UGT) inhibitor that can cross the blood-brain barrier. DL-Menthol binds to GABA_AR and exhibits an allosteric activation effect, enhancing GABA-mediated chloride influx and inhibiting neuronal excitability. DL-Menthol can induce surgical anesthesia in fish and inhibit the metabolic detoxification of tobacco carcinogens by human liver and intestinal UGT enzymes, resulting in reduced NNAL-N-Gluc production.

Menthofuran, 84% is an orally active modulator of pulegone reductase with gastroprotective activity, and it is the metabolite of (R)-(+)-Pulegone. Menthofuran, 84% reduces the transcriptional level of pulegone reductase in immature peppermint leaves, increases the content of pulegone in peppermint essential oil, and regulates the biosynthesis of peppermint essential oil through a feedforward-like inhibition mechanism. Menthofuran, 84% decreases total gastric acidity, restores non-protein thiol levels, inhibits lipid peroxidation, and reduces myeloperoxidase activity, with its mechanism of action related to the NOS pathway and endogenous prostaglandins. Menthofuran, 84% can be used in studies related to gastric ulcers.

Piperitenone is a terpenoid, and exhibits antioxidant activity. Piperitenone scavenges DPPH free radicals with an IC₅₀ of 22.7 μg/mL, and inhibits the peroxidation of linoleic acid.

Menthyl salicylate is a flavor ingredient and a volatile flavor compound. Menthyl salicylate imparts a fresh mint-like aroma to black tea. Menthyl salicylate can be used in studies related to the aroma of black tea and the behavior of ingredients in cosmetic formulations^[1].

(-)-Isomenthone is a natural active compound, can be isolated from Mentha haplocalyx. (-)-Isomenthone is a volatile component and relative content of 2.53% in Peppermint from Qinghai.
