1. GPCR/G Protein
  2. Bombesin Receptor
  3. AMBA

AMBA is a gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPR, BB2, BRS-2) ligand. AMBA binds to GRPR with high specificity and high affinity, and undergoes receptor-mediated endocytosis, which retains the conjugated radiometal in target cells. AMBA is applicable for the research of prostate cancer.

Beschreibung

AMBA is a gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPR, BB2, BRS-2) ligand. AMBA binds to GRPR with high specificity and high affinity, and undergoes receptor-mediated endocytosis, which retains the conjugated radiometal in target cells. AMBA is applicable for the research of prostate cancer[1].

In Vitro

AMBA (0.001-1000 nmol/L; 60 min) exhibits high specificity and nanomolar affinity for human GRPR receptors, with an IC50 of 0.82 nmol/L and a Ki of 0.65nmol/L[1].
AMBA (6.66 × 10-4 μmol (1 μg); 10 min) can be efficiently radiolabeled with 111In, achieving a radiolabeling efficiency of 95.43% under the tested conditions[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

In Vivo

111In-AMBA (0.37 MBq-12.2 MBq/4 μg; i.v.; single dose) achieves peak tumor uptake of 3.87 ± 0.65% ID/g at 8 hours post-injection in PC-3 prostate tumor-bearing SCID mice, with a maximum tumor/muscle ratio of 11.79, demonstrating effective targeting of GRPR-expressing tumors[1].

Die Formel zur Berechnung von Molaritäten

Mass (g) = Concentration (mol/L) × Volume (L) × Molecular Weight (g/mol)

The dilution calculator equation

Konzentration (Stammlösung) × Volumen (Stammlösung) = Konzentration (Ziellösung) × Volumen (Ziellösung)

Diese Gleichung wird häufig abgekürzt als: C1V1 = C2V2

Concentration (start) × Volume (start) = Concentration (final) × Volume (final)

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
