Biological Activity
Antibacterial agent 360 (compound 48) exhibits antibacterial activity against Streptococcus pneumoniae (SP), methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA), methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Staphylococcus epidermidis (SE), Bacillus subtilis (BS), vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium (VREfm), vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecalis (VREFs), and Mycobacterium smegmatis (MS)[1].
Antibacterial agent 360 shows no cytotoxicity to both hepatocytes (H) and keratinocytes (K)[1].
