A-431 is a human cancer cell line derived from Skin, epidermis and associated with Skin squamous cell carcinoma. Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. A-431 is used as an in vitro model of Skin squamous cell carcinoma to investigate cytotoxicity and host-pathogen interactions.
