Definition:
A10 is a rat Myoblast spontaneously immortalized cell line derived from Thoracic aorta, smooth muscle. Its spontaneous immortalization permits extended propagation while retaining lineage-associated properties. A10 is used to investigate Notch signaling, cell proliferation, cell migration, cell invasion, gene-expression regulation, and cell differentiation in a controlled cellular system.
