Its continuous tumor-cell growth supports reproducible mechanistic and pharmacological experiments. A121 is used as an in vitro model of Ovarian carcinosarcoma and Malignant mixed Mullerian tumor of the ovary to investigate tumor-cell growth, cell survival, and pharmacological response.
