Definition:

AML12 is a mouse Hepatocyte spontaneously immortalized cell line derived from Liver. Its spontaneous immortalization permits extended propagation while retaining lineage-associated properties. AML12 is used to investigate cell proliferation, inflammatory signaling, receptor signaling and trafficking, and gene-expression regulation in a controlled cellular system.
