Biotin-itaconate
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Biotin-itaconate is a biotin-labeled itaconic anhydride that targets PD-L1. Biotin-itaconate acts as a biotin probe for in vitro alkylation assays to identify itaconate-modified protein substrates. Biotin-itaconate is applicable to cancer research.

Biological Activity
Biotin-itaconate (50 μM; 4 h) covalently alkylates the Cys272 residue of wild-type PD-L1 in HEK293T cells, while the C272A mutation abolishes this alkylation[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
-
Cell Line:HEK293T cells transfected with hemagglutinin (HA)-tagged wild-type (WT) programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1) or HA-tagged PD-L1 C272A mutant plasmids
-
Concentration:50 μM
-
Incubation Time:4 h
-
Result:Labeled WT HA-PD-L1, as detected by streptavidin blotting of immunoprecipitated protein.
Significantly decreased the level of labeling compared to WT PD-L1 when PD-L1 carried the Cys272 residue mutation.
