In Vitro
KF-19418 (0.001-10 μM; 4 days) concentration-dependently stimulates proliferation of hair bulb cells isolated from 4-day-old C3H/HeN mice, reaching ~240% of control growth at 10 μM over 4 days, while maintaining immature cell morphology and melanocyte populations[1].
KF-19418 (3-10 μM; 3 days) promotes hair follicle elongation in cultured whole skin pieces from 4-week-old C3H mice in anagen phase, with 10 μM increasing tissue area by ~13% over 3 days[1].
