Biological Activity: Remacemide (FPL 12924) is an orally active, non-competitive, low-affinity NMDA receptor antagonist. Remacemide shows neuroprotection activity in animal models of hypoxia and ischemic stroke. Remacemide is also an anticonvulsant, and can be used in Parkinson's disease and Huntington's disease research[1][2][3][4].
