Biological Activity: Cefcanel is an orally active cephalosporin and antibacterial agent. Cefcanel inhibits growth of methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus, methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus epidermidis, Haemophilus influenzae, Moraxella catarrhalis. Cefcanel acts as a substrate hydrolyzed by TEM-1, TEM-3, and Moraxella Bro-1 beta-lactamases[1].
