    Description

Catalase, trichoderma reesei is a catalase derived from Trichoderma reesei. Catalase, trichoderma reesei dismutates hydrogen peroxide into oxygen and water, helping cells resist oxidative damage caused by hydrogen peroxide[1].

    In Vitro

Catalase is primarily localized in peroxisomes and can dynamically shuttle between the cytoplasm and peroxisomes to protect cells from oxidative damage. Abnormalities in its expression and activity are closely associated with tumorigenesis and tumor progression[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

    Help & FAQs
    • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
