Evofolin A
Evofolin A is a conjugated benzophenone derivative and monocyclic polyketide that exists in the heartwood of Phellodendron chinense var. glabriusculum, the herb Sida acuta, and the filamentous fungus Aspergillus oryzae. Evofolin A acts as an inducer of quinone reductase activity in cultured hepatoma cells.

Microbial Metabolite |
Evofolin A (6 days) production in Aspergillus oryzae requires the ppsA and ppsB genes, while ppsC enhances Evofolin A yield, and ppsD is not involved in Evofolin A biosynthesis[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
