SB87-H (0.016-50 μM) potently induces cytotoxicity in A549, HeLa, HepG2, MCF-7, and Vero cells with IC₅₀ values ranging from 1.5-2.2 μM^[1].

Bacterial Infection

SB87-H (compound 9) (0.31-10 μg/mL; 6-8 h) inhibits the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, and vancomycin-susceptible Enterococcus faecium with an MIC of 10 μg/mL, and shows no activity against vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium^[1].
