T4 UvsX Recombinase
Based on 1 Customer Validation
T4 UvsX Recombinase helps initiate DNA replication on a double-stranded DNA template by catalyzing synapsis between the template and a homologous DNA single strand that serves as primer. T4 UvsX Recombinase greatly amplifies the snap-back (hairpin-primed) DNA synthesis that is catalyzed by the T4 DNA polymerase holoenzyme on linear, single-stranded DNA templates.

Product Information
T4 UvsX recombinase is derived from T4 bacteriophage and is a homolog of the RecA/Rad51 family. It plays an important role in the repair of double-strand DNA breaks and the restart of replication forks. It is recombinantly expressed in E.coli and has no nuclease activity. The storage solution is 50 mM Tris-HCl, 50 mM KCI, 1 mM DTT, 0.1 mM EDTA, 50% glycerol, pH 7.5.
Instructions
Applied to isothermal amplification RPA reactions, and the recommended addition amount is 300-400 ng/μL.
Precautions
Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
