Epanorin
Epanorin is a secondary metabolite of the Acarospora lichenic species Epanorin can inhibit cancer cells proliferation, ROS production and induce G0/G1 phase arrest. Epanorin shows antibacterial activity. Epanorin can be used for the researches of cancer and infection, such as breast cancer and S. pneumonia infection.

Activité biologique
Epanorin shows potent inhibitory activity against breast cancer cell line (up to 80%) and moderate inhibitory activity for meningioma (up to 40%)[1].
Epanorin (28 μM) reduces cell colonies in MCF-7 cells[1].
Epanorin (28 μM, 48 h) reduces ROS production in Doxorubicin (HY-15142A)-induced MCF-7 cells[1].
Epanorin (28 μM, 48 h) induces G0/G1 phase arrest in MCF-7 cells[1].
Epanorin (28 μM, 12 h) does not induce detectable DNA fragmentation in MCF-7 cells[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
