DOPE-PEG2000-CRPPR
DOPE-PEG2000-CRPPR is an amphiphilic lipid-PEG-peptide conjugate consisting of DOPE (1,2-dioleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine), PEG2000, and the CRPPR peptide, a cardiac-targeting peptide identified by in vivo phage display. DOPE-PEG2000-CRPPR is used for heart-targeted drug delivery.

Biological Activity
DOPE-PEG2000-CRPPR: surface functionalization of liposomes and nanoparticles for heart-targeted drug delivery, applicable in cardiovascular disease therapy, myocardial ischemia treatment, and cardiac imaging.
Structural composition:
(1) DOPE; a fusogenic phospholipid with two oleoyl chains that anchors into lipid bilayers and promotes pH-responsive membrane fusion for intracellular cargo release;
(2) PEG2000; a hydrophilic polymer that provides steric stabilization, reduces opsonization and immune clearance, and extends circulation half-life;
(3) CRPPR peptide; a cardiac-homing peptide identified by in vivo phage display that specifically binds to receptors on cardiomyocytes and cardiac vasculature, directing nanocarriers to heart tissue for targeted delivery of cardioprotective drugs, anti-ischemic agents, or imaging contrast agents, significantly improving cardiac drug bioavailability while reducing systemic side effects.
