Human UGT2B7
Human UGT2B7 is a UDP-glucuronosyltransferase isoform. Human UGT2B7 catalyzes the glucuronidation of Clopidogrel carboxylic acid (HY-141749A), Chloramphenicol (HY-B0239), and Morphine. Human UGT2B7 can be used in studies related to acute coronary syndrome and thrombus-induced events.

Biological Activity
|
UGT2B7 |
Human UGT2B7 (30-60 min) catalyzes the glucuronidation of Clopidogrel carboxylic acid (HY-141749A), with a Km value of 296.4 μM and a Vmax value of 120.9 pmol/min/mg protein, and its catalytic efficiency is 3 to 12-fold higher than that of other active recombinant UGT isoforms tested[1].
Human UGT2B7 (50 min) efficiently catalyzes the O-glucuronidation of Chloramphenicol (HY-B0239). Its activity for producing 3-O-glucuronide (CLint = 0.43 L/min/mg protein) is higher than that for producing 1-O-glucuronide (CLint = 0.047 L/min/mg protein), and it is the only tested UGT isoform with significant 1-O-glucuronidation activity[2].
Human UGT2B7 catalyzes the glucuronidation of Morphine[3].
