MR2-cy5 is a clustered mannose ligand that binds CD206 and enables fluorescence detection of CD206⁺ macrophages; its fluorescence is selective for CD206⁺ macrophages and colocalizes with CD206 immunostaining in the infarcted brain region after ischemic stroke.
