MOPSO (2-hydroxy-3-morpholinopropanesulfonic acid) (pH=6.7; approximately 23°C at room temperature) serves as the aqueous solvent system for cyclic voltammetry (CV) tests of all copper-ligand complexes, simulating the locally physiologically acidified environment of brain tissue with nerve injury[2].
