Murrayone
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Murrayone is a coumarin compound with antifungal and antiplatelet activities. Murrayone disrupts fungal redox homeostasis, impairs cell membrane integrity, inhibits sporulation, spore germination and hyphal growth, and causes morphological damage to fungal cells. Murrayone reduces the disease severity of blueberry fruits infected with Botrytis cinerea. Murrayone can be used in studies related to fungal infections and vascular diseases.

生物活性
Murrayone (10-50 μg/mL; until mycelia cover at least two-thirds of the plate area) potently inhibits the mycelial growth of Botrytis cinerea strain Bc05.10 in a concentration-dependent manner, with an EC50 value of 39.18 μg/mL, and induces severe abnormalities in mycelial morphology[1].
Murrayone (40 μg/mL; 15 days) significantly reduces spore production of Botrytis cinerea strain Bc05.10[1].
Murrayone (25-200 μg/mL; 12 h) inhibits spore germination of *Botrytis cinerea* strain Bc05.10 in a concentration-dependent manner, with an almost complete inhibition rate (92.72%) at 200 μg/mL[1].
Murrayone (100-300 μg/mL; 12 h soaking, 5 days incubation) exerts no adverse effect on the germination rate of cucumber seeds of the Jinyan 4 cultivar, and promotes root growth at the concentration of 200 μg/mL[1].
Murrayone (40 μg/mL; 3 days) induces extensive differential gene expression in the mycelia of *Botrytis cinerea* strain Bc05.10, with significant enrichment of pathways related to oxidative stress responses and cell membrane functions[1].
Murrayone (50-200 μg/mL; applied 12 h after 48 h of initial culture) disrupts the mycelial cell membrane integrity of Botrytis cinerea strain Bc05.10 in a concentration-dependent manner[1].
Murrayone (20-100 μg/mL; 5 days) reduces the dry weight of mycelia of Botrytis cinerea strain Bc05.10 in a concentration-dependent manner, indicating that membrane damage impairs fungal growth[1].
Murrayone (30-60 μg/mL; cultured on potato dextrose agar (PDA) for 3 days, followed by 24 h incubation on glass slides prior to staining) induces concentration-dependent ROS accumulation in the mycelia of *Botrytis cinerea* strain Bc05.10, indicating severe oxidative stress[1].
Murrayone (200 μg/mL; topical application; single dose) reduces the gray mold disease index in postharvest blueberry fruits to 58.33% over 5 days, demonstrating significant antifungal efficacy against Botrytis cinerea[1].
Murrayone (Compound 10) (5-50 μg/mL; incubated until control colonies cover 90% of the agar surface) moderately inhibits mycelial growth of Colletotrichum capsici, with an EC50 value of 24.9 μg/mL[2].
Murrayone (Compound 8) can significantly inhibit the abnormally elevated platelet aggregation induced by adenosine diphosphate[3].

Select the appropriate dissolution method based on your experimental animal and administration route.
- For the following dissolution methods, please ensure to first prepare a clear stock solution using an In Vitro approach and then sequentially add co-solvents:
- To ensure reliable experimental results, the clarified stock solution can be appropriately stored based on storage conditions. As for the working solution for In Vivo experiments, it is recommended to prepare freshly and use it on the same day.
- The percentages shown for the solvents indicate their volumetric ratio in the final prepared solution. If precipitation or phase separation occurs during preparation, heat and/or sonication can be used to aid dissolution.
