Biological Activity
Maltoheptaose modifies the DMNPB photoprotective group, improves the resistance of self-assembled monolayer (SAM) to nonspecific protein adsorption and inhibits nonspecific cell adhesion[1].
Maltoheptaose binds to CymE protein in K. oxytoca (KD=70 μM), and can be used as the energy source for growth of K. oxytoca[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
